Annual Dinner 007

The 2007 Forward Janesville Annual Dinner was held on Tuesday, March 20 at the Holiday Inn Express Conference Center. More than 560 business people listened and laughed as the keynote speaker, Dr. Charles Petty, delighted everyone with his humorous presentation that highlighted the three areas necessary for every great community: strong economy, caring volunteers and stable families.

The audience heard from FJI president John Beckord and past FJI chair Bill Kennedy. Kennedy highlighted Forward Janesville’s partnership with UW-Rock County and the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce in the successful efforts to add a four-year engineering program at UW-Rock County.

Thank you to all of the sponsors, volunteers, attendees and the Annual Dinner Committee that made the 16th Annual Dinner a success!

The James Bond theme was prevalent in every aspect of the Annual Dinner from the invitations to the decor.  The room at the Holiday Inn Express Janesville Conference Center looked splendid before nearly 600 were seated (above left) and after (above).  Forward Janesville president John Beckord and his wife Carol (left) pose with one of the bad guys descending on the event.
