United Way - Story of Results

Area children receive fliers at school about child-related programming. It's simple for non-profit organizations to drop them off at school and for teachers to hand them out, right?  Not so much.

In 1998, the "School Flier Program" was going to be dropped at the School District of Janesville.  It was getting too complicated - too many organizations dropping them off and so much time taken from learning.
Now it is a coordinated flow - an example of MANY organizations working with United Way to get fliers out to area students in a timely manner.  Now children learn about art and acting classes, skating, sports, and after-school programs because of an organized behind-the-scenes system.
