I want the library to be recognized as a community and business partner, and I want to be a visible connection to the library for anyone who wants to work with or be re-connected to the library either for personal or professional reasons.

(I do also have a very real professional purpose for staying connected to the business community, since I am the business librarian.)

Honestly, the biggest part of my “why” would probably be being around fantastic people-both ambassadors and community members.

One reason I chose to be an Ambassador is the community involvement. Getting the inside scoop and helping spread the word for our local businesses is my favorite part. I see the huge strides Janesville has made and will continue to make and I’m thrilled to be a part of it!

I am a Forward Janesville Ambassador because I love and believe in what FJI does for our community.

I became a member/ambassador because Forward Janesville is one of the most dynamic and action-packed organizations in all area communities that acts as an amazing advocate for its community’s citizens and businesses. Also, it offers our own business the opportunity to network with the many outstanding businesses that serve the community.

I am a FJI Ambassador because I want to bring community knowledge, awareness, and company/organization interest to our youth and our educators. I want to be known as a youth and community advocate who brings the needs of the community into the academia world. I want our students to graduate knowing which companies are in their backyard and realize that they can live a vibrant life in Janesville.
