WHAT WE DO : GOVERNMENT RELATIONS : ROCK COUNTY DAY IN MADISON

Rock County Day in Madison

Rock County Day in Madison is Forward Janesville's annual lobbying day at the Wisconsin State Capitol.

The sixth annual Rock County Day in Madison will take place on Wednesday, May 3, 2017!

This event allows area business and civic leaders to get up to speed on what’s going on in Madison.  Our day in Madison will begin at 8 AM with a group meeting with our area legislative delegation.  After hearing from Wisconsin Transportation Secretary Dave Ross at 9 AM, the group will split into smaller teams and visit with lawmakers from all over the state beginning at 10:30 AM.  After the legislative visits, the day will conclude with an optional lunch at a Capitol Square restaurant.

Those who participate in Rock County Day speak with one voice about the stateline area’s infrastructure and economic development needs.  But you don’t have to be an issue expert to participate!  We will get everyone up to speed on the issues of the day before our Capitol office visits.
