Forward Janesville Ambassadors

Who are the Ambassadors?
The Ambassadors are a group of approximately 40+ volunteers who represent Forward Janesville by building connections with members. They can be found at all FJI events to make introductions, answer questions, promote our mission and welcome you with a smile (Look for the volunteers in RED!).

How does this benefit me and my business?
As a member of Forward Janesville, your business/organization is assigned an Ambassador. He/she is your liaison to Forward Janesville and will provide you with important updates, remind you about upcoming events, answer questions about the benefits of your membership, and much more. Your Ambassador is your personal information source for anything Forward Janesville related!

Who can join?
Any Forward Janesville member in good standing can interview with members of the Leadership Team to be considered as an Ambassador.

When does the group meet?
The Ambassador meetings are scheduled on the third Wednesday of every month and alternate between 12:00 pm, and 4:00 pm (meetings last approximately 1 hour).

What motivated you to become an Ambassador?
Community involvement, helping local businesses grow, and (of course) to have fun!

What is your favorite thing about Janesville?
Location. I love having access to the entertainment and conveniences of the surrounding cities, but I more so appreciate the peaceful communities that the Janesville region offers. Oh, plus the Rock River and surrounding lakes are a bonus.

If there is one area of change in Janesville that you could influence, what would it be?
I would like to be a part of the continued growth of the downtown area, because there is no better place to bring the community together. How outstanding would it be to see that continuous improvement reaching the community’s goal in my lifetime.

What are your favorite hobbies?
I am happy doing anything competitive and outdoors! Especially hunting, fishing, running, hiking, golf and playing other sports.

Tell us about your family.
My parents live in Potsi with our 11-year-old golden doodle, Charlie. I have a soon to be married older brother and a younger brother attending UW-Platteville. Last but not least, Nicole my kind hearted girlfriend, who lives with me here in Janesville.
