Forward Janesville’s Latino outreach initiative, Adelante Janesville, is launching a new networking experience designed to bring together entrepreneurs, professionals, community leaders, and future business owners from across Rock County.
The inaugural Salsa Business Network event will be held Wednesday, May 27 from 5-7 p.m. at Bazinga in Janesville.
Created as an energetic, bilingual and relationship-focused networking experience, Salsa Business Network is designed to complement — not replace — Forward Janesville’s longstanding Business After Five events. While both events focus on building professional relationships, Salsa Business Network introduces a different atmosphere and format centered around cultural connection, intentional interaction and community-building.
The event will feature music, interactive networking activities, bilingual engagement opportunities, and a welcoming environment for both Latino and non-Latino professionals. The goal is to remove some of the barriers that traditional networking events can create while encouraging authentic conversation and collaboration.

The event is being organized through Adelante Janesville, Forward Janesville’s Latino Outreach Program. Adelante Janesville works to strengthen connections between the Latino community and the broader business community while helping ensure Latino professionals, entrepreneurs and families feel welcomed, supported, and represented in Rock County.
Since its creation, Adelante Janesville has focused on building bridges — connecting businesses to talent, helping entrepreneurs grow, and creating opportunities for greater community engagement and collaboration.
Organizers hope the event will attract a diverse mix of attendees, including business owners, young professionals, employers, civic leaders, entrepreneurs, and individuals simply looking to expand their network in a new and engaging environment.

Admission is $5 for Forward Janesville members and $10 for non-members.
