JANESVILLE, Wis. – Forward Janesville, Janesville’s Chamber of Commerce and a leader in private-sector economic and community development in Rock County, is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors, further strengthening its leadership as it advances key initiatives in the region.
Joining the board on three-year terms as of March 1, 2026, are: JP Brummond, Vice President of Generation, Alliant Energy, who brings extensive experience in energy leadership and infrastructure strategy; and Bekki Kennedy, Co-Founder, Fist Bump Labs LLC, who brings a proven track record in business-building, brand strategy, and scaling ventures across multiple industries.
“Adding new voices to our board is critical as we continue to evolve and respond to the needs of our business community,” said Shar Hermanson, President and CEO of Forward Janesville. “JP and Bekki bring valuable expertise and insight that will help shape our priorities and drive meaningful progress for Janesville and Rock County.”
Forward Janesville also extends its sincere appreciation to outgoing board members Derek Greene, Baird Financial and Mary Jo Villa, Hendricks Holding Company for their dedicated service and leadership.
Serving as officers on the 2024-25 board are: Chair George Cullen, JP Cullen; Vice Chair Sean Kennedy, JP Cullen.; Secretary/Treasurer Joe Stadelmen, Angus-Young; and Past Chair Mick Gilbertson, The Developing Edge.
