Drop the puck!

OK, maybe not quite yet. The Janesville Jets' North American Hockey League season, their first in the highly anticipated Woodman's Sports & Convention Center, is still a few months away.

But on May 28, Forward Janesville staff, Ambassadors and volunteers, along with community members and Jets fans, celebrated the team's new front office with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony. It's located in downtown Janesville at 18 S. Jackson Street.

At their office, you can stop down to meet the front office staff, chat about tickets or sponsorships for the upcoming season, grab a new sweater, hat or other great merchandise, and more!

Jerad Clark, Vice President of Business Development and Operations for the Jets, said at the Ribbon Cutting that the Jets are planning on to get into their new Mercyhealth Arena, inside the WSCC, in mid-August to begin preparations for the season, with the first game set for Sept. 20.

"We're really excited," Clark said. "We intend to be very involved in the community. As a lot changes for the Jets, a lot stays the same. The mission stays the same. It's affordable family entertaintainment for Janesville, it's a player experience, and we engage with the community in a strong way. We'll continue that moving forward."
